80-90 days.       One of the few black corn varieties. Was originally sold under the title "Black Mexican" when introduced in seed catalogs in 1864. Black Aztec Corn is great as sweet corn, but also makes delicious corn flour (makes a neat blueish-gray cornbread!). Stalks grow to 6', bearing 7-8" ears, that are white in the milk stage (sweet corn), and turn to a deep blue-black when dry. Very hardy, grows well in many conditions.

Boone County White Corn - Non-GMO, Non-Hybrid, Untreated Heirloom and Open-Pollinated Corn Vegetable Garden Seeds Boone County White (Zea mays)
110-120 days.       Boone County White Corn is one of the oldest of the heirloom white varieties, believed to have originated in Indiana and descended from 'White Mastadon', with its history dating back to at least the Civil War. Considered to be one of the finest of corn varieties specifically bred for roasting, it is known to be a favorite at festivals and fairs. 10-12' leafy stalks bear large 10-12" ears with 18-24 rows of pure white, delicious kernels. In its early use, it was grown extensively in the south for grinding and making corn bread, but is now often picked young for roasting. Also makes a good fodder crop.

100-110 days.       Not actually a true corn, rather it is an ornamental sorghum, very popular for decorations and crafts. Mixed Colors Broom Corn is a tall annual grass that looks like a corn plant, except that it makes fan-shaped seed heads instead of ears, appearing at the top of the plant in place of a tassel. The seeds are loved by birds, and are also edible and can be sprouted, cooked, popped, or ground into flour. Stalks grow 7-9' in height, with seed heads being 24-36" long. This Mixed Colors Broom Corn seed is, as the name implies, a mixture of many different broom corn varieties. The colors that predominate in this mix include gold, bronze, black, burgundy, red, white/cream, natural, and all shades of these colors. The broom heads can be harvested for brooms or ornamental uses anytime after the seed head develops. Harvesting and drying the seed heads at various stages of development, result in varied appearances in the color of seed. As the plant matures, the seed heads will deepen in color and the seeds will become heavier and shiny, when dried they make a beautiful and unique addition to flower arrangements. The stalks when dried make excellent brooms, tie a few together to make a strong and long lasting broom.

Country Gentleman Sweet Corn is an old-fashioned "shoe peg" type corn, meaning the creamy white kernels are in an irregular pattern as opposed to rows. Stalks grow to 7-8' tall, producing up to 3 ears each. Ears grow to 8", with tender, sweet, and creamy kernels. Makes some of the best cream corn you'll ever taste, which freezes well, giving you a taste of delicious sweet corn from your garden even on the most bitter winter days! Good for canning and freezing whole as well. Master fishermen find it makes a superior corn bait. Has better resistance to corn smut than earlier, smaller varieties of sweet corn.
