Rudbeckia seeds will germinate in approximately 20 days at 70°F. They can be started indoors 8 - 10 weeks before the last frost date or sow outdoors 2 weeks before last frost date. Do not cover Rudbeckia seeds when sowing and space 12" - 18" apart. Rudbeckia like full sun and can be planted in pots or baskets.
