As we are a small family business, we are unable to staff the phone. Depending on time of year, and time of day we are busy filling orders, doing office work, working the gardens and fields, cleaning and checking seed, etc. To be able to keep our product prices reasonable, we do all this work ourselves, keeping us from having to hire help. Limited Seed Warranty
Our seeds are guaranteed to be true to the type and variety you purchase. We assure, through regular germination testing, that the seeds we sell meet or exceed the Federal Standards for Vegetable Seed Germination, before they leave our facilities. Our seeds are stored in a temperature controlled walk-in cooler, where they are protected from damaging heat and humidity, and treated with utmost care until they leave our facilities. Once they are shipped, environmental conditions and handling are beyond our control.
Seeds are living organisms, their viability and germination rates can be greatly affected by a number of factors, three major factors being temperature, humidity, and light. Please be aware of these factors in storage of your seeds. Proper germination of seeds and health of plants depend upon many grower related skills and practices, including, but not limited to: proper planting times, planting depth, watering, use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, and insecticides; and upon growing environment and medium, including, but not limited to: soil type, diseases in soil, pests, weather conditions, and conditions in transit between our facilities and customer’s home/P.O. Box, as well as environment of storage until planting time. All of these factors are beyond our control and responsibility.
Considering the above factors, and all other forces beyond our control/responsibility, we, the Seller, cannot unconditionally guarantee seeds purchased to perform properly, regardless of varying conditions of exposure, shipping, planting methods or possible Buyer error. If you experience any problem with seeds you have purchased, please feel free to write us, and we will try to assist you. In light of the many factors that can affect seeds, outside and beyond our control/responsibility, we are unable to offer a 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed Warrant. However, we will certainly do our best to arrive at a fair resolution if you find you are ever dissatisfied with our seeds/products. Please note that any resolution offered will be limited to our discretion; options may include store credit, coupon for discount on future purchases, or replacement seeds, according to individual circumstance.
