All About Rabbit ManureGrowing healthy plants begins with healthy soil.

Using Rabbit Manure
Our Silver Fox Rabbits Rabbit manure is considered to be one of the best manures for gardens. It has one of the highest levels of nitrogen of any animal manure (typical N-P-K ratio: 2.4 – 1.4 – .60), yet it can be applied directly to plants without the need for aging or composting to prevent it from burning the plants/roots. At first glance, rabbit manure, like all animal manures, may seem to be less powerful than commercial fertilizers. However, they are in reality much better and healthy for your garden, as manure is high in organic matter, which feeds and builds the soil structure, improves drainage and provides food and nourishment for your plants, as well as earthworms and other beneficial animals. Just as we need to eat to be healthy, soil needs replenishment of its organic matter to decompose into humus. Humus helps create a rich, moisture-retaining soil and makes nutrients available to plants. Whereas some manures have to be aged so they're not harmful to the garden, rabbit manure can be used fresh.
