(a.k.a. Tom Thumb, White Rice, and Early White) (Zea mays) 85-105 days.       A very old variety of popcorn that has not lost it’s popularity with home gardeners. Japanese Hulless White Popcorn is very prolific, producing 3-6 small 4″ ears per stalk. Stalks are dwarf in habit, reaching only about 5′ tall. Kernels are arranged irregularly on cob and are unusually tender, sweet, and pure white and nearly hulless when popped. Excellent white popping corn.
