(a.k.a. Black Seeded Iceberg, Giant Crystal Head) (Lactuca sativa) 82 days.       Iceberg Open Pollinated Heading Lettuce is our most popular Head Lettuce. Iceberg has a large crisp head with curly leaves that have a mild flavor. Iceberg leaves are light green with a redish tinge.

Planting Instructions for Iceberg Lettuce Seeds

Heirloom / Open Pollinated Lettuce is direct seeded, covering the seeds very lightly. Germination occurring in 2-10 days when the temperature ranges from 60 to 70°. Plant Lettuce in full sun, or afternoon shade in hot climates.
