(Lactuca sativa) 50 days.       Flame Open Pollinated Leaf Lettuce has leaves and stems that are bright red in color. Flame has leaves that hold their color well and is slow to bolt. Flame resembles the Prizehead type loose leaf lettuce.

Planting Instructions for Flame Lettuce Seeds

Heirloom / Open Pollinated Lettuce is direct seeded, covering the seeds very lightly. Germination occurring in 2-10 days when the temperature ranges from 60 to 70°. Plant Lettuce in full sun, or afternoon shade in hot climates.
