I planted this variety last summer in SW Arkansas. It was even hotter and drier than most summers. This squash still grew and produced like a champ with many days of triple digit temps and a drought. Even my corn, cucumbers, and tomatoes died despite my best efforts, but not this squash. The flavor was excellent as well. Suprisingly my issues w/ squash bugs were minimal. Later they did succumb to squash vine borers, but I didn’t treat them either. It will be a staple for my garden. St.Clare Seeds has some great seeds and are my first choice.

I am really impressed with the germination % rate. I have tried other seed companies that cost more money had less seeds per pkg, and had a much lower germination % rate. Very productive. I smile every time I see a new bloom.
