Limited Seed Warranty
Our seeds are guaranteed to be true to the type and variety advertised. Each lot is regularly germination-tested to ensure it meets or exceeds Federal Standards for Vegetable Seed Germination before leaving our facilities. Seeds are carefully stored in a temperature-controlled walk-in cooler to protect them from heat and humidity until they are shipped. Once shipped, storage conditions and handling are beyond our control.
Seeds are living organisms, and their performance can be influenced by many factors, including temperature, humidity, and light during storage. Successful germination and plant growth depend on proper gardening practices such as correct planting time and depth, watering, fertilization, weed and pest control, and soil management. Weather, soil conditions, and shipping or storage environments also play significant roles. Because these factors are outside of our control, we cannot guarantee results in every circumstance.
If you experience difficulties with our seeds, please contact us. While we cannot offer an unconditional 100% guarantee, we will do our best to provide a fair resolution, which may include replacement seeds, store credit, or a discount coupon, at our discretion.
Shipping and Delivery
Once an order leaves our facilities and tracking information is provided, responsibility for safe delivery rests with the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS). St. Clare Heirloom Seeds cannot be held liable for delays, damage, or loss during transit. If a problem arises with your shipment, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you in resolving the matter with the carrier.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of seeds and their susceptibility to environmental factors, we cannot accept returns once packages have left our facilities. If you receive an incorrect item or believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us promptly. We will work with you to find a fair solution, which may include replacement seeds, store credit, or another remedy at our discretion.

Seeds are sold for home gardening and agricultural use only. St. Clare Heirloom Seeds cannot guarantee specific results, as success depends on conditions and practices beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, soil health, pests, diseases, and grower practices. By purchasing seeds from us, you agree that our liability is limited strictly to the purchase price of the seeds. We are not responsible for crop loss, lost income, or any other incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products.
Limitation of Liability
St. Clare Heirloom Seeds shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our seeds or products. Our liability, if any, is strictly limited to the purchase price of the seeds in question.
Order Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days. During peak planting seasons, processing times may be longer. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.
Privacy and Security
Shopping with St. Clare Heirloom Seeds is safe and secure. Our website uses SSL technology and is PCI compliant. All checkout and payment processing is handled through a secure third-party provider. We never see or store your credit card information.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. Your privacy and security are protected when you shop with us.

We are a small family-run business and do not operate a customer service phone line. Our time is divided between processing orders, managing office tasks, tending gardens and fields, and preparing seeds. To keep our prices reasonable, we do this work ourselves instead of hiring extra staff. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to contact us by email; we will respond as soon as possible.

St. Clare Heirloom Seeds is a home-based business. For the privacy and safety of our family, we are unable to accommodate visitors or accept in-person business. All transactions are conducted online. Thank you for respecting this policy.
