In our ever evolving quest to best serve you, our customer, we have designed our heirloom / open-pollinated garden seed packets for seed viability and protection. We begin with an inner 2 mil resealable bag, providing protection against moisture, while still allowing the seeds air to breathe (unlike vacuum sealing), both of these factors that are important to the long-term viability of seeds. These resealable packets allow you to easily save any leftover heirloom garden seeds for future use. Just seal, return to the outer paper packaging, and place all in a canning jar in the fridge! Keeping your heirloom / open-pollinated garden seeds cool, dry and dark will preserve them for an extended length of time, ensuring the highest rate of viability.
We have designed the front of our packets colorful and attractive, with an old-fashioned touch hearkening to the wonderful old-time history heirloom / open-pollinated seeds, with our web address conveniently located at the bottom, making it easy to remember where you purchased your seeds. The classic look of our packets is designed to reflect our love for and mission to preserve the vital heritage of heirloom and open-pollinated seeds.
A whole new look has been given to the back of our seed envelopes. First, we are working to revamp our planting, growing, and harvesting instructions in an effort to consistently offer you what you need to know to grow your heirloom garden. You will notice as well an American flag proudly displayed there. This flag is to represent our firm held beliefs in the values our country was founded on and for all that we hope America can and will be if citizens continue to rise up and call for a renewal of Godly truths and strengthening of family values in the political arena. We are all truly blessed to live in a country founded thus, and experience the freedoms given us. The American flag here also symbolizes that our seeds are all grown in the U.S.A. We do not purchase cheap seeds from China or any other country! Opposite the flag stands a Non-GMO sign, symbolizing our pledge to never knowingly buy or sell genetically modified seeds, with all their unhealthy side effects on humans and animals. At the bottom and side of the envelope back you will find contact information for our company, so you can easily see where your seeds come from, and write to us with any questions or comments. We happily reply to all e-mails or letters by mail as quickly as possible. Last, but certainly not least, at the top of the back of each envelope you will find a detailed label highlighting pertinent information on the particular seed contained in that heirloom seed envelope, such as specific seed name, amount of seeds to expect in the packet, Item no. and Lot no.(for reference in the event of contacting us), expected days to maturity of that variety, and what season the seeds are packed for.
There you are, our new and revised seed packaging! We are certainly open to any suggestions for future revisions, so if you think of any improvements we could make, please drop us a line and let us know. In the meantime, have a great gardening season, and may God bless you and your loved ones!
