Hi, I am wondering which tomatoes you would recommend for canning, mainly juice and salsa tomatoes. I usually grow Amish Paste or Roma’s. I want to stay away from GMO’s.

The canning season may be over for most of us gardeners but we are excited about this tip that we discovered through a customer inquiry. We have always gone with the “blanch and peel” method of peeling tomatoes for canning, a messy and at times difficult method, but it works.
