Kara – Michigan
Ingredients:
- 1 or 2 large bunch(es) fresh broccoli, finely chopped
- 1 cup raisins OR dried cranberries OR dried cherries
- 1 ½ cups seedless grapes, cut in half or quarters
- 1 cup red onion OR sweet vidalia onion, finely chopped OR 1 bunch green onions, sliced fine
- 1 V2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1 cup chopped almonds OR cashews OR peanuts
- 1/2 lb. Bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled OR 1 package real bacon bits
Dressing:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sugar (Splenda works well in this recipe)
- 1 Tabl. cider vinegar
Directions:
*Combine all of the above ingredients, reserving the nuts and bacon bits until you add the dressing, shortly before serving.
