(Raphanus sativus) 60 days.       Watermelon radish are a unique large white rooted radish with a green shoulder. The flesh is red to pink and very sweet & crisp. Best when picked small (1″-1 1/2″ dia.), they will get big if you let them.

Planting Instructions for Watermelon Radish Seeds

Watermelon radish are easily grown throughout the growing season in nearly every climate. Heirloom / Open Pollinated Radish Seeds are direct seeded in full sun and covered with .5″ of soil. Radish Seeds will germinate in temperatures ranging from 45°F-85°F, with germination occurring in 4-10 days. Heirloom / Open Pollinated Radish plants should be thinned to 1-2″.
