Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 4 peppers
  • l lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ c uncooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Wash peppers and remove stems and seeds. Mix all other ingredients. And fill peppers with mixture. Place in flat casserole or baking dish. Cover bottom of dish with approx. ½ c. water. Cover dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

Then add:
8 Oz. or more of tomato sauce, pouring sauce into peppers. Continue baking an additional 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
